Restrictive trade union policies concerning employment

Nature
Trade union policies may be restrictive to the point of infringing the rights of individual employees in their relations with labour organizations. Captive members of labour organizations may be denied civil rights by their union bosses. Restriction practices range from union shop, hiring halls, compulsory unionism in any forms to interference by national and international unions with local union bargaining and employment.
