Populism

Nature

Populism implies belief in the superior moral worth and creativity of ordinary, uneducated and unintellectual people. This may lead to the use of violence against oppressors, namely the upper classes. It may lead to anti-intellectualism and cultural stagnation of the fine arts as opposed to peasant arts.
