Covert non-physical psychological violence
Psychologically dangerous forms of non-physical violence through which dignity and personhood are denied in interpersonal relations. Such actions can include hurting another through thought, word or deed, and withholding support and concern when the situation demands it. It is especially evident in individual postures of racism, sexism, and prejudice based on a person's age, religious belief or sexual orientation.
