Incidence 
A survey cited a report by the European Federation of Road Accident Victims of 10,000 afflicted families in nine countries showed that relatives of the dead and injured suffered severe psychological problems for many years after the accident. More than 70 percent lost interest in work, 64 percent suffered from depression and 37 percent considered suicide.
Claim 
1. What is hardly recognized is that those bereaved or injured through road crashes are often permanently harmed. Yet there is almost no help or proper compensation for road violence victims and their families.

2. The total costs to European society of road accidents is virtually the same as the total production costs of the European car industry.
