The Canadian military acknowledged that one of its peacekeepers had a past involvement with neo-Nazi groups, and there are several suspected links between the Canadian Armed Forces and a variety of white supremacist groups. The link has been made to racism within Canadian peacekeeping forces stationed in Somalia. In 1994 Amnesty International submitted a report to the United Nations alleging collusion between the Royal Ulster Constabulary and loyalist paramilitaries in Northern Ireland. In 1994 it was reported that the South African security forces had been involved in the supply of arms to the Inkatha Freedom Party, despite repeated denials of any such involvement.
