Globalized trade malpractice

Name(s):
Unethical world trade practice
Incidence
Under the World Trade Organization (WTO) regime, global corporations are free to export dangerous products and technologies to 134 nations, as they shop around for the cheapest labour costs and weakest environmental and public health protections. When individual nations have tried to impose precautionary regulations to defend their citizens, exporting nations have appealed to the WTO to strike down rules as an unfair restriction of trade.
