Epispadias

Nature 
In male epispadias the urethra opens on the dorsal side of the penis, which is usually small and often curved. In the female the urethra may open into or above the clitoris, which may be bifid. The extend of the epispadias varies considerably, and often occurs with bladder exstrophy. Mild forms can be successfully repaired surgically.
Incidence 
A rare malformation of affecting than 1 birth in 10,000, although it is probably under-diagnosed for girls.
