In Chinese medicine the [Gall Bladder] stores and secrete bile. As in western medicine, the bile is poured into the [Intestine] by the [Gall Bladder], aiding the digestive process. The [Liver] and the [Gall Bladder] are coupled [Yin] and [Yang] organs (associated with the element [Wood]) and dissonance in one may cause problems with the other. Imbalances in the [Gall Bladder] may result in imbalanced ability to make decisions and poor execution of plans.
Background
The [Gall Bladder] is considered both a [Yang Organ] and a [Curious Organ]. It is [Yang] because it is involved in the breakdown of impure food; it is curious it is the only [Yang Organ] to contain a pure substance, bile, which is the surplus [Qi] of the [Liver].
