Argumentative community meetings

Community progress and full local involvement in decision-making seems often to be stifled by argumentative community meetings. Where there are no mechanisms by which the community can resolve inter-personal and inter-group tensions creatively, these disconnected forms of engagement very often prevent people from coming together as one community.
