Extinct species of Hesperornithiformes

Nature:

A group of flightless, foot-propelled diving birds, 1 to 2 m long, known by fossils from the Upper Cretaceous in North and South America and also central Asia. Hesperornithids lived in freshwater as well as marine environments.
