Nature:

This is a disease of blood vessels and results in poor circulation in the lower legs, causing skin problems like burning, tingling and ulcerations.

Incidence:

It usually occurs in young men in their 30's who smoke cigarettes. In recent years, with the increase in women smokers, cases are being reported with young women.
