Nature:

Crimes against government and public property are numerous and may include: the stealing of state or public property; appropriation; embezzlement; extortion; abuse of public office; or the intentional destruction or damaging of public property. All crimes of this nature, on whatever scale, serve to undermine the good of the government and its public services.
