Nature:

Damage caused by space objects may include loss of life or injury to persons or loss of or damage to property, either on the earth (including aircraft in flight) or in outer space (including other space objects or installations). Difficulties may arise in establishing liability for damage caused by space objects or in obtaining prompt payment of a full and equitable measure of compensation to the victims of such damage.
