Problem

Political feuding

Nature:
Political parties who have not been elected for some time tend to lose touch with the possibility of actually ruling their group or district, and focus their efforts on promoting the right ideas among their own members. Thus groups and splinter groups proliferate, while the group which is in power is forced to make decisions on their own without the benefit of alternative perspectives.
