Unequal global distribution of basic skills

  • Imbalanced international distribution of skills

Claim

An effective technological system for teaching basic skills would have unimaginable potential power: it could eliminate global inequities in education and give everyone the training necessary for dealing with present-day complexities. But the various education systems actually in use are rooted in the use of static, content oriented methodologies, and cannot possibly succeed in equipping people with the techniques they need nor enabling them to adjust to the ever increasing rate of change.
