Problem

Bisexuality

Other Names:
Discrimination against bisexuals
Active prejudice towards bisexuality
Prejudicial treatment of bisexual people
Nature:
The ability to respond homosexually as well as heterosexually may cause psychological conflict since bisexuals rarely have a balanced preference for both male and female and their inclinations may be encouraged or deflated by circumstance. Bisexuals may suffer from a guilt complex and struggle to keep up a normal sexual relationship in marriage in spite of a strong homosexual preference. Bisexuality indicates an inability to commit oneself to a one-to-one relationship and may indicate other character defects.
Incidence:
Bisexuality is found most frequently among criminals and adolescents.
