An enlightened workforce will not tolerate dehumanizing work conditions. It expects respect and dignity, as well as attention to its interests and more from work than compensation. It expects satisfaction from it. Failure to provide it results in absenteeism, lateness, attrition, sabotage, strikes, accidents and low productivity.
