Nature:

Defrauding creditors is a wide range of criminal activity. The intentional refusal to pay for loans, mortgages or other forms of credit. The difficulty with determining whether a crime is being committed is whether or not the accused is attempting to extend the period of payments or is actually attempting to defraud the creditor.
