Inadequate radiological services
Nature
Diagnostic radiology is still scarce and poorly organized in the developing world. Existing services tend to be centred in large urban hospitals, equipped for specialized examinations, but there is little coverage of peripheral areas and those that do exist at the local level lack sophisticated machinery and skilled personnel.
