Toxocariasis

Nature:

Toxocariasis is a disease of dogs which can cause a chronic but usually mild infection in humans. It is usually picked up from worm larvae in faeces. In more serious cases it can lead to fever, respiratory problems, enlarged liver and a rash. In very rare cases it can result in eye problems and total blindness.
