Description:
Completeness is the ideal state of being when all the parts are perfected and in perfect harmony. In religious terms, completeness arises with triumph over lower self-will and in union with divine will. The way to this union is one of gradually ascending a ladder of which each rung is a struggle with and victory over some temptation of the world that would otherwise drag the soul down to hell.When considering universal harmony, different traditions see significance in numeric quantities. This is as true of the numbers significant in modern science as much as in the cosmic numbers of Pythagoras. Particular numbers are significant in many traditions, as the 3 of the trinity, the 7 of the scale, the 12 manifest beings, 10 creative forces, and so on. Of particular importance is the transcending of duality (or male and female) in wholeness or unity.
