Ninth scriptural bodhisattva awareness

Description:

This state of awareness is of the need to conform teaching to the student. It is represented in its developed form as the ability to speak in several languages and styles of delivery, with varying formulations adapted to hearers, all simultaneously - as practised by the ninth-stage bodhisattva expounding the dharma from his complete wisdom and knowledge. This wisdom includes possession of the ten powers - [dasabala], the [abhijna] (six supernatural powers), the [asta-vimoksa] (eight liberations), the four fearlessnesses or certainties - [vaisaradya]; and the magic formulae - [dharani]. This stage is called appropriate intellect (sadhu mati).

Context:

According to Tibetan Gelugpa Buddhism, the ninth level on the path appropriate to those working for the salvation of all, leading to Buddhahood and the ultimate consciousness. In Tibetan Sakya Buddhism this is one of the states in the "Ascension Stages Game". In some sets it is numbered 95 on the board.<

UIA’s decades of collected data on the enormous variety of association life provided a broad initial perspective on the myriad problems of humanity. Recognizing that international associations are generally confronting world problems and developing action strategies based on particular values, the initial content was based on the descriptions, aims, titles and profiles of international associations.

The Union of International Associations (UIA) is a research institute and documentation centre, based in Brussels. It was established in 1907, by Henri la Fontaine (Nobel Peace Prize laureate of 1913), and Paul Otlet, a founding father of what is now called information science.
