Divine indwelling
Description:
As a person progresses on the spiritual path, the inner presence of God becomes apparent. Doctrines differ on the precise meaning of this "indwelling", whether it is different in kind from God's presence in all things (as a special gift of grace), or whether it is the same form of indwelling as occurs in the whole creation but, as the individual is perfected, the way is cleared for it to show.
