Public opinion

1. The opinion of individuals and groups constituting the consumers of private and public mass media information services.
2. Statistically or methodologically significant behavioural reaction from the electorate, the public or masses so-called, and non-governmental organizations, to events, actions, proposals, plans, etc, that are perceived as affecting their interests.
